Medicinal Garden

  

Medicinal Plant gardens have played a significant role in education and research of plants used for medicinal purposes. The Medicinal plants available in the herbal garden will help the student in identifying and knowing the medicinal values of natural products those are being used in commercial market. Medicinal plants such as Aloe, Tulsi, Neem, Turmeric and Ginger cure several common ailments. Lemongrass tea made by extraction with water provides a soothing effect to the throat. As per the Pharmacy Council of India guidelines, herbal garden has been created and maintained by A.R. College of Pharmacy and G.H. Patel Institute of Pharmacy with more than 50 different herbal plants, all with links to herbal medicine. Medicinal Plants have been labeled with their scientific names.
